Manager - Commercial Due Diligence in M&A

BearingPoint Capital is seeking a Manager to join our growing M&A team in Stockholm, working across Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) engagements with a strong focus on technology-enabled and growth-driven businesses.

In this role, you will be involved in:
Leading and delivering Commercial Due Diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side clients. Including assessing market size and growth, customer and competitor dynamics, business models, and key value levers.
Providing investors with clear, insight-driven recommendations on target company positioning and commercial viability.
Managing client relationships, often directly with deal team principals and C-level stakeholders.
Supporting deal origination efforts, including proposal development and go-to-market initiatives.
Playing a pivotal role in building the Nordic CDD team within BearingPoint Capital
Developing junior team members through coaching and project-based mentorship.
Working closely with colleagues across Europe to support clients across diverse industries.
Contributing to the development and execution of BearingPoint’s M&A growth strategy.
We are looking for top-performing individuals with the following characteristics and background:
4-6 years of experience from leading strategy or transaction advisory firm, primarily in Commercial Due Diligence.
Proven experience leading buy-side and sell-side CDD workstreams or strategy projects in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
Excellent commercial acumen and analytical thinking, with comfort interpreting market, financial, and operational data.
Experience working with investment theses and transaction-critical questions.
Experience with deal origination and business development.
Confidence engaging with senior client stakeholders (e.g., deal principals or CxOs)
Ability to lead projects and deliver under tight deadlines in high-pressure deal environments.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to create and present high-quality client deliverables.
Experience in technology, healthcare, or business services sector is a plus.
MBA or Master’s degree from a leading university, with a strong academic record.
Candidate must have the right to work in Sweden and be fluent in Swedish; English proficiency is equally required as our primary working language.
